New talent joining the G2 team!
We’re excited to announce that Sean Friend, Grace Graner, Karah Roof and Aaron Monto have recently joined the G2 Consultants (G2) team as project specialists.
All four individuals are based out of G2’s Lake Oswego, Oregon office. They will be utilizing their background in the sciences and their industry experience to help our clients maintain and achieve regulatory compliance, primarily as it pertains to regulated building materials, including asbestos and lead. Our new team members will also be responsible for conducting field assessments and overseeing complex asbestos abatement projects throughout Oregon and Washington.
Additionally, they will conduct industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and indoor environmental quality assessments, which are performed to mitigate risk and promote safer and healthier work environments for G2’s clients.
The energy, attitude, and work ethic that these project specialists have already displayed make them invaluable assets to the G2 team, as well as our clients.
Sean Friend
Sean has four years of professional experience in multiple scientific industries, including forestry, stormwater, wastewater, environmental consulting, and industrial hygiene. Prior to joining G2, Sean was a Stream Technician for the City of Salem, OR. His introduction to the environmental consulting industry came in the position of Consulting Utility Forester with CN Utility Consulting, where he was contracted to inspect and prescribe preventative maintenance work for overhead electric distribution and transmission equipment throughout Southern CA. When not consulting with clients, Sean likes to spend time with his 3-month-old daughter and take long walks outdoors.
Karah Roof
Karah earned her degree in biology from Northern Arizona University in 2014. Since then, she has been working in resource management, and recently decided to take her career in a new direction by joining the G2 team. In her free time, Karah enjoys all the wonderful outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Aaron Monto
Aaron started his career in industrial hygiene at an environmental laboratory, performing environmental surveys, testing substrates for lead, and analyzing air samples. He quickly realized he had a passion for learning the ins and outs of the field, and especially enjoys seeing project goals come to fruition. During his free time, Aaron enjoys kayaking, hanging out with his dog, and building high-end computers.
Grace Garner
Grace recently moved from Texas to Portland to join G2. She graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Grace will be utilizing her background in the sciences and her industry experience to assist our clients maintain and achieve regulatory compliance, primarily as it pertains to regulated building materials.
