Welcoming new talent to the G2 team!

We’re pleased to announce that G2 Consultants (G2) has recently brought on two new team members, Chase Eckersell as a Sr. Project Specialist and Alvaro Serrano Gonzalez as a Project Specialist.

Both Chase and Alvaro are based out of our Lake Oswego, OR, office. They will be using their industry experience and background in the sciences to help our clients maintain and achieve regulatory compliance (primarily as it pertains to regulated building materials, including asbestos and lead). Our new team members will also be responsible for conducting field assessments and overseeing complex asbestos abatement projects throughout Oregon and Washington.

Additionally, they will conduct industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and indoor environmental quality assessments, which are performed to mitigate risk and promote safer and healthier work environments for G2’s clients.

The experience, expertise, and work ethic that Chase and Alvaro have already displayed make them invaluable assets to the G2 team, as well as to our clients.

Chase Eckersell

Chase was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. He attended Eastern Washington University, where he graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He started his career doing Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, collecting environmental data and providing oversight in a cleanroom setting. After moving to Portland in 2014, he transitioned to the Industrial Hygiene industry, performing asbestos and lead paint surveys for JSE Labs.

Prior to 2021, he enjoyed hiking, backpacking, home brewing, playing soccer, board games, and road trips with his wife, Tracy. Now he has a beautiful daughter, Madeline, and doesn’t know what free time is anymore.

Alvaro Serrano Gonzalez

Alvaro grew up in Spain. In 2021, he moved from Minneapolis to Beaverton. Alvaro graduated in May 2021 with a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. After working in the Physical Therapy industry, he decided to take his career in a different direction and focus on the environmental field. In his free time, Alvaro enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and puppy.
